Project Organization

The project is organized as follows:

  • You must work in group of two students. The students organize themselves for forming the groups and any issue in doing so must be announced to serge.ayer@hefr.ch or luca.haab@hefr.ch before February 21, 2025. The project must be delivered on https://www.github.com as part of a classroom. In order for you to be enrolled, you need to communicate your GitHub username. To do so, add your personal information to the classlist and make sure sure you use the same GitHub username when enrolling in the first assignment.
  • You will receive access to a GitHub repository whose name is TeamName-CarSim. Make sure it contains, at the root of the project, a “README.md” file with the following information:

    • Full name of the students
    • Lecture name/School/Year
    • Short description of the project
  • The project is delivered in three phases, with final submission at the end of the semester.

  • The dates related to the project are given in the plan. Be aware that not respecting the deadlines may lead to the project not being considered for the lecture grade.
  • The project is evaluated after each phase and each group gets a number of points after each evaluation.
  • The total number of points for the project is \(100 pts (30/30/40)\) and the grade is calculated as \(project\ grade = (points/100 * 5 + 1)\).
  • The project grade is 30% of the course grade.
  • The oral exam grade is 70% of the course grade.

Note

The GitHub repository you will receive access to is a fork of another repository. For this reason you may be asked to update yours if the upstream content changes.
